Juris Institute, Inc.

Juris Institute, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation (in formation) currently being created as a domestic New York State corporation under the Not-For-Profit Corporation Law of New York State. It is being created during the fall 2007 by Alex T. Roshuk, Esq. who will be the organization's first Executive Director. The organization will initially develop a program of online continuing legal education (CLE) that will be submitted to the New York State Office of Court Administration (OCA) CLE Board for accreditation of its courses prior to offering the courses for credit.

These programs will be designed for solo or small firm practice to help practitioners develop understanding of new areas of law, potential areas that a solo or small firm practitioner may consider as an area of law to expand her or his practice into in the future or to increase the practitioner's understanding in an area in which he or she already practices.
